In his own words

The short version.

Arturo's first gig paid $50 for three hours at a backyard birthday party. He was fifteen, running two CD players with a single speaker sitting on the floor, and he couldn't beat match yet — so he played requests back to back and called it a set. A neighbor had let him practice on their gear. That was the whole beginning.

Twenty-five years later the thing he'd point to isn't the mixing. It's the microphone. Radio taught him timing, vocal inflection, and how to ride the cues in a record so an announcement lands in the pocket instead of on top of a lyric — and that's the difference between a reception that flows and one that keeps stalling out. He'll MC your night in English, in Spanish, or switching between the two all evening.

His favorite night on the books is his friends Justin and Kenny's wedding in March 2025 — every enhancement they offered, an LED dance floor, and a room that turned into a Vegas club for five straight hours of hip-hop, reggaetón and EDM. He opened the floor with “Back That Azz Up.” He describes the whole thing as Project X, wedding edition.

“As soon as I hear someone talking over lyrics, I know they're new to this.”

The difference

What Arturo is
known for.

Radio-trained on the mic
Timing, vocal inflection and music cues — learned on air, not at weddings. It's why his announcements move the night instead of interrupting it.
The MC you want him to be
Some couples want announcements only. Some want a club host. All Spanish, all English, or back and forth. He's done every version and will build yours to spec.
You'd never have known
He once left his laptop at home, an hour from the venue, and didn't realize until it was time to start. Dinner ran off his phone until it arrived. Nobody in the room noticed.
